Meet Our Team

Jeff Jones—President 

A practiced construction advisor and visionary with over 30 years in the industry, Jeff founded TRU Building in 2010. His continuous study of building science informs the company’s focus on high performance buildings. He is dedicated to delivering beauty, function and value on every project and sets the standard for TRU Building’s commitment to relentlessly proactive methods.

Jeff nurtures client and subcontractor relationships throughout the building process to ensure the most creative, energy-efficient solutions at all levels of construction. Coordinating with contractors, architects and engineers, he oversees the delivery of exceptional results on every build, on time and within budget.

David Rader—Director: Remodel Division 

Owning a remodeling business for 10 years has equipped David with first-hand experience planning, supervising, and implementing smart upgrades in commercial and residential spaces.

His commitment to superior customer care and quality, energy-efficient construction make him an ideal leader for TRU Building’s Remodel Division.

Working alongside clients to apply strategic upgrades and additions to existing structures, David leads our team in delivering attractive, functional spaces incorporating industry-leading energy efficiency for a totally new move-in experience.

Christie Coleman—Administrative Assistant  

Christie keeps track of boots on the ground, managing everyday operations and administrative details for the TRU Building team. Whether supporting staff, communicating with clients, or processing documentation from our construction partners, Christine embodies our commitment to extraordinary care and guidance from planning to completion.

Corey Patry—Superintendent

Corey is the Lead Residential Superintendent.  He has been with TRU-Building since August 2012 and has primarily been focused on residential projects, but occasionally works with the Remodel and Commercial Divisions. He has recently completed the third new home for TRU-Building that was approximately 7,000 square foot. 

Bill Spackman—Superintendent  

Bill is the Lead Commercial Superintendent.  He has been with TRU-Building since September 2014.  He was the lead superintendent on the Downtown Anthony project which was a “ground up” new building consisting of 42,000 sqare feet. 

ANDY SPACKMAN—LEAD CARPENTER  

Andy joined TRU-Building in November 2015 and has worked on a wide variety of projects.   Prior to working at TRU-Building he was full time framing.  With the promise of a more diverse work day, Andy is often jumping between the Residential, Commercial, and Remodel divisions of the company.

DAXTON LAIDLAW—Laborer  

Daxton joined TRU-Building in November 2015 as well.  While he is the youngest of the team, he is very “tough” when it comes to the fun comments made by his fellow cohorts.   Learning with a very diverse Company he has became very proficient running the skid steer as well!
